Taste the freshest olive oils and amazing balsamic vinegars with the Olive Oil Man at Wells City market Wednesdays and Saturdays and also the first Sunday in the month (April to Oct) Frome Market, St. Catherines Hill. September 2009Watch BBC2 - Sunday 9th at 9.00pm - "Dragons' on Tour" - they still don't know quite what to make of "fresh seasonal olive oil" - best kept to the private club, perhaps! August 200929th-30th August PLAY THE FIELD - Keinton Mandeville, Somerset with CHARLES HAZZLEWOOD and Deborah Meadon (Dragons' Den) - amazing event - wet - wet - wet! - fantastic support - busy with the new Chilean harvest - didn't move out of the tent all day. Vivaldi came to winter and I fell out of the field, exhausted!
16th - Sunday Plymouth Flavour Fest with Chefs Jaques Marcal and Richard Valder - introducing the Michael North "Signature Series" fresh seasonal olive oil and a few lovers like the new St Clements "oranges an lemons" balsamic dressing.

The Dragons Den - perhaps the ultimate challenge for The Trail Master? Michael North introduces fresh seasonal olive oil to the city money folk. A storm erupts, there is no let up, it will only be "seasonal fresh olive oil" or nothing at all!

March 2008 Sunday lecture in Blagdon, Somerset - Have your own private tasting party. Markets as usual find The Trailmaster at Wells City markets Wednesdays and Saturdays or Tuesdays at Glastonbury. February 2008 Back from a tasting session in Australia - The Hunter Valley, NSW - in a nutshell they are not quite ready but I am sure some good oils will come out of the "Hunter" in the future. The new season's oils have just been tasted and there are some rather exciting oils to come out of Greece, Sicily and Northern Italy - watch this space. Martin says, "Olive oil and chocolate might sound like an unlikely combination, but since we introduced olive oil aficionados The Trail Master at The Olive Trail to chocolatier Damian Allsop, we’ve found out that nothing could be further from the case! Damian has created some fantastic olive oil and water based ganaches using freshly harvested olive oil."

Two new top Chefs now take our select oils. Club Members are invited to apply to travel with Michavel to one of the olive producing countries. The fully escorted 7-10 day, tutored tour will include, the olive grove, the mill, the press (when they are in operation!), explore the region, history, tradition and customs, its people, the local food, and of course the official tasting with Judy Ridgway who will fly in for the occasion. The whole tour will will be informal and relaxed yet full of fascinating facts, folklore, and you will have plenty of free time to explore for yourself if you so choose. The view left is through a wild kalamata over to Poros Island, Greece - breath taking!The Trailmaster has just returned from a visit to Portugal and Spain and guess who he met there, Judy Ridgway of course! The have tasted the fresh harvest, some indeed was not even bottled yet, tasting straight out of the vat! The new oils have been chosen and will be announced to the Members soon! April 2007 The new oils are here, and the Club Members have had there's delivered, some even want to photo, frame, and not even taste. Get real guys, especially certain Members not to be named but rather they are rather well known household names. Here is a pici of the little saucy Spanish organic number! Also there is an amazing Portuguese Arbequina and an unusual world first blend with a hint of Cobrançosa - mmmm!!
