The AlmanacThe Olive World Almanac

The "Olive World Almanac" a World first for all Club Members. Full of useful notes on olive oils, varieties - there are over sixty to taste and then some exquisite blends exclusive to the club, regional notes, Michelin Chef and artisan recipes, and also not forgetting Judy Ridgway's tasting notes. Every new oil will have their own tasting notes. In this way the world's first up to date olive oil "bible" will be created!

The Clubs first oils were from Greece. The grower is Yannis Grohman and has a vast experience in the ways of the olive. Two of his oils went to David Rosengarten's club early 2006. All his oils are extra virgin cold pressed, single variety and one is organic.

The old must give way to the new, we enjoyed the oils from Portugal and Spain and the last of the delightful selection from the Peloponnese, Greece.

The new harvest has been chosen and it is anFresh South African Olive Oil Club June 2007 exquisite collection from South Africa, yes, South Africa! On the right three new entries, Willow Greek a sweet Mission variety, then Waterfall River a full robust Frntoio and Leccino, organic and the Directors Reserve, Frantoio, Coratina, Leccino and FS17, a well balanced all rounder.

These are too pretty eat, I think I will leave them on the shelf to admire? - Carl, London.
Can't get enough!! Jane, Wells, Somerset.
Jenni B - Oh, just heavenly!
I liken this to Gervrey Chambertin - what more can I say - Peter Bayless, BBC Master Chef 2006
