I was in the deepest depths of Somerset and met a vintner, he is experienced and well, quite frankly famous! Chatting together in a local hostelry the vintner says to me:

Why is it when I go on holiday in the Med and I get amazing olive oil that just tastes great and when I get back, to Blighty I cannot find anything as good, no way!!

He said "Not sure what vintage the olive oil is?"
Well, I just replied it was harvested 6 weeks ago, "Fresh is best!"
